Bed bugs in apartments, student rentals and older homes
When tenants move in and out every August and May, bed bugs move with them in furniture, mattresses and luggage. Landlords and tenants both call us for bed bug removal. We were the first company in West Michigan to use APPREHEND, a fungal spore treatment that infects bed bugs and kills them within 4-10 days. A treatment keeps working for about three months.

Bats, birds and squirrels in Kalamazoo attics
Tall old roofs, chimneys and gable vents are exactly where bats and birds like to roost. We assess the problem free by phone or email first. Our bat and bird removal service gets bats out by exclusion and sealing, so they can’t get back in, and handles woodpeckers, pigeons, starlings and English sparrows. We also do vent screens, chimney caps and attic cleanup. Red squirrels, flying squirrels and raccoons in the attic fall under our wildlife removal service, a flat $625 for a 7-10 day trapping program with unlimited captures and no per-animal fees.
Mice, ants and fall invaders
Mice are the number one winter call in Kalamazoo. Stone and block foundations, old utility openings and gaps under doors let them in as soon as the weather turns. Our general pest control plans cover both rodents and insects, inside and out. They start with a $165 initial visit, then Organic Gold at $96.25 a visit (monthly), Silver at $99.25 (7 visits a year), or Bronze at $112.93 (quarterly). In spring the same plans handle pavement ants and carpenter ants. Carpenter ants love the damp wood you find in older porches and window frames.

I rent. Can I call you directly, or does my landlord have to?
Either one can call. For bed bugs, the treatment works best when the whole unit is prepared and treated together, so we’ll talk through who’s paying and how to prep before we schedule.
Do you treat houses near WMU and K College?
Yes. We serve all of Kalamazoo, plus Portage, Oshtemo, Texas Township, Comstock and the surrounding area.
Are your products safe in an older home with kids or pets?
For insects, our general pest program uses FIFRA-exempt essential oils and botanicals. For mice we use multi-catch traps and vitamin D-based baits, which we consider a safer option, plus conventional products when needed. Tell us about your kids and pets when you call.
