Our Pest Control Services

Johnson Pest Control is a Portage-based pest control company serving Kalamazoo County and the surrounding towns. We use organic, eco-friendly products wherever we can, and we post our prices. Here’s everything we do.

For the inside of your home

Organic general pest control

Our year-round plans cover ants, spiders, bees and wasps, stink bugs, lady beetles, boxelder bugs, mice, rats, ground squirrels, shrews, cockroaches and more than 40 other insects and rodents. Each visit covers the inside and outside of your home and is timed to the season. Plans start at $96.25 per visit after a $165 initial visit.

No contract. Our plans are pay-as-you-go, and you can cancel anytime. A $50 cancellation fee applies.

Scheduling: on every plan, the first two visits are two weeks apart.

Bed bug removal

We were the first company in West Michigan to use APPREHEND, a fungal spore treatment, instead of heavy chemical sprays. Initial visit $425-$625, two-week follow-up $99, with a three-month re-treat guarantee. See bed bug removal.

Termite treatment

Bait stations and targeted wall foam keep chemicals out of the soil and your well. Installation $725, with a one-year guarantee. See our green termite service.

We also handle skunks (call for a quote) and do wildlife repairs, including vent screens, chimney caps and attic cleanup (call for a quote). See wildlife removal and stray cat removal.

Bat and bird removal

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Phone and email consultations are always free. On-site evaluations are $150.

Do you service businesses?

Yes. Commercial general pest control is covered by the same 30-day re-treat guarantee as our residential service.

Is everything organic?

Our insect treatments, mosquito program, bed bug program and tree and shrub care use organic products. For mice and rats we use Tin Cat multi-catch traps, vitamin D-based baits (a safer option) and conventional products when needed. Our termite service uses bait stations and targeted wall foam instead of chemical soil treatments. Ask us about any specific service when you call.
